Old News
this is old news, but West held its inauguration last week. i was happily doing non work related shit on my work station when i was suddenly whipped to the 28th floor. apparently, i was pulled out to do a “demo” for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. she was a guest of honor for the inaguration of the company i work in.
in short, i was cold from hair tip to toe nails. good thing was, it was a miscommunication in the management side. they were all panicking and shit so they ended up filling the whole training room with agents. there were around 24 people in the room, 3 agents (myself included) supporting broadband, and the rest supporting narrowband.
in an hour or so, a small lady with an irritating smile waltzed in the room, followed by a mod of managers, supervisors, wannabe’s, and the press. lights everywhere. camera clicks. camera flashes. good thing i wasn’t in a call. the noise was horrendus. the little lady smiled her irritating smile and walked to an agent on the opposite side of the room, smiled, then pretended to hear what was going on.
it lasted for 5 mins. anyway, it was no big deal. good thing that the demo thingy assigned to me did not push through. i cannot imagine the stress that i’d have to go through if it happened. =p
