Glorified Version of A Stranger

Woke up at 10:45. Hmmm… still groggy from my short, short sleep, I walked out my room to make me some coffee. Ugh. The sky is threatening to loose millions of galons of rain. I hurry and go through the ritual of getting ready for work. Hmmm…”drop by the bank,” I heard my brain say. So I rode the jeep to the nearest bank, proceeded to withraw a small amount of cash. First try: no cash, no receipt. ACK! I was flabbergasted! Courageously, I reinserted my card and tried it again. Whew! Worked this time. Crossed the street, waited for a cab and then boom!!! Rain came in torrential downpours. Lit a ciggy and then patiently watched as peolple ran to and fro, sheilding their crowns with their hands [as if it’ll be any help at all]. LOL

Cab of the Day: Wallis
Leche! This cab’s known for fast meters and balasubas drivers. I didn’t have a choice. It was either ride it or be late. I couldn’t help but glance at the meter from time to time. When we got to the office, the meter was at a hundred bucks. Deym! I fished 80 bucks from my pocket then handed it to the driver. He remarked”hoy, kulang to!” I said “pasalamat ka hindi kita pinapulis! Wag mo kong lokohin, araw-araw akong nagtataksi! Punyeta!” The idiot just scratched his head.
