How Fickle Pinoys Are: Manny Pacquiao runs for Congress

Pacquiao’s running for office. Blech~

According to Sun.Star Manila, Monkeyboy’s challenging opposition legislator Darlene Antonino-Custodio, currently serving her second term.

I don’t think everyone’s built for politics. Using popularity in order to win a seat in Congress is just like biting your opponents ear off. What’s worse is that I doubt that he even knows what he’s doing.

Imagine a scene in Congress where Monkeyboy defends a resolution he wants to pass. A seasoned Congressman opposes his resolution then the debate heats up. What would Monkeyboy do?

A. Knockout the opposing Congressman with a flurry of punches
B. Bite the Congressman’s ear off
C. Consult his coach on what to do
D. Spit in a bucket

Gads~

I bet that with his popularity, this is going to be somewhat similar to Erap’s performance. Victory due to popularity (with the help of the fickle-minded masses). No wonder this country’s going under. What a nuissance!
