Opinion: The UP FAIR

I was semi-blog-hopping when I read Ade’s blog on the Emo&Squatters. I was practically laughing my head off when the UP Fair scene flashed before my eyes.
I was standing in line (for the past 50 minutes), losing patience and sanity at the sluggishness of the line when I decide to do a bit of people watching.
1. a pair of smoochie-lovers in front of me (looking like they can’t wait to do the deed)
2. bored girl behind me (damn ugly too)
3. ugly kids at the side, marvelling at the popcorn man and his cart
4. stinky, dugyot, kadiri kids, posing as rockers, wearing absolutely horrendous clothing, taong grasa-esque har, eyeliners, checkered shirts
5. stinky, dugyot, kadiri squatters
6. dust, dust, fukcing DUST!
7. stupid, idiotic organizers who can’t even make people fall in line
8. stupid, idiotic kids pushing everyone in line
9. the dugyots spitting and smoking
10. people in line who don’t even have common sense to buy tickets before falling in line to get in
11. mineral water bottle throwing
Gads~ if you even look around, I bet that the jologerz and posers outnumber the UP students 10 to 2. Sheesh~ The Fair should be made exclusive to UP students. Tickets shouldn’t be sold to the stupid, dirty, ugly, kadiribaduy posers. Dati hindi naman ganyan ang fair ah!

Oh man, I was there.. kelan ka ba nagpunta? Nandun ako ng Feb 13 hehe... i was at the backstage... kaya nga ayaw ko pipila dyan eh hehehe...at least may kasama akong banda kaya ayun through backstage...dami talagang posers... expect that na... mga feeling rakista wala naman sa itsura hehe :P

I miss miss miss the fair of old, back when I was a freshman (mid-90s). Things weren't so out-of-hand then.
I wouldn't want to fucking bring a date or even old girl collegemates to the fair now, since I'd be so freaking paranoid for their safety. Priority dapat muna ang safety ng camera ko. Ay.

Carlo: Feb 16 ata ako pumunta. mga bwakananginang mga amoy anghit na yun! hehehe. nakakatakot, baka masaksak ka ng wala sa oras. toink. Rain: Yeah, I'd give anything to go back to those days~ nawala na yung spirit ng fair. naging tambayan na na mga jologo. gyah~ if gravatar's running on your end, it's prolly my plugin. boink. i can't check your site eh. blocked dito. :lol: reinstall ko na lang soon.

I can't seem to enjoy the UP fair because of these people you have mentioned. Yeah hindi naman masama maki-party at magsaya duon pero the point is hindi sila nagaayos ng sarili bago pumunta dun and they do not know how to conduct themselves na para silang nakawala lahat sa kural.

nag-UP fair kami noong 2005, tinamad na ako last year saka this year kasi naalala ko ngang ang daming jologs na posers pa...ok lang sana kung mahirap sila kaya lang ang nakakainis e yung pa-cool effect drama nila...di naman bagay, nakakabwisit lang talaga...
tapos ang dami pang poppy bands, sinama sa mga rockers...
