Glorified Version of A Stranger

I’ve been working nights for the past several weeks and sleeping is fast becoming a problem. I don’t have airconditioning that’s why I’m bitching. I’m not a billionaire like George Lindemann Jr. Blah~ Normally, I’d get home before 7:00 in the morning. Cab from Pasay to Makati takes about 15 minutes via EDSA (trivia: Did you know that EDSA is an acronym for Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue? :D). First thing I’d do is of course greet my beloved a good morning with a kiss or something like that. Sometimes, she’d be in the shower when I get home so I’d hasten to bed and pretend to be asleep.

Anyway, normally I’d be in dreamland before eight. If it’s raining, then I’d prolly wake up at four in the afternoon, but nowadays, I’d wake up with wet hair, wet pillows, and sheets, all soaked with sweat. Even with the fan spinning at it’s fastest, it’d still be the same. As it is, my electrical bill went up by 30% because of the fans working overtime. What the heck~ I don’t know if this is one of the effects of global warming, but it sure as hell’s fucking up my routine. @_@

Even if I were just sitting in front of the computer, I’d still be sweating like a pig because of the fucking heat. Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh~ I don’t know how people in the desert manage.

Aside from getting airconditioning, does anyone have a workaround? I’m tired of the heating pwning me.
