2007 UAAP Cheerdance Competition Winners

HAH!!! UP Pep finally bagged the top place in the 2007 UAAP Cheerdance Competition, winning P172,500, and garnering 92.66 points.
Five-time champs UST SDT got second place, winning P108,500 at 92.16 points, while FEU PS placed third, winning P69,000, at 91.66 points.
A few minutes after the winners were announced, I received lots of messages (which were from fellow UP Alumni, me thinks) from friends warning about a massive traffic jam along España. Apparently, bumabaha daw… bumabaha ng luha.
While this much anticipated victory was celebrated big-time by the University of the Philippines students, faculty, staff, and Alumni, I think it’s just wrong to send/forward these types of text messages bragging about a win that’s five years in the making. Then again, I think it’s part of the UP Culture to do such. Anyhoo, UP FIGHT! Great job you guys!

UP deserved that one. I swear if UST won that one I'd say they cheated. ^_^ And yes I'm from UST... Next year humanda na lang kayo hehehehe

:D Yeah, I'm expecting UST to take the competition level one notch higher. I guess it's safe to say that the UP Pep will be preparing for that.
