Messenger-ing, Blocked Websites, and Java

Humph~

I need to correct myself. .NET messenger service is available here via Windows Messenger, but it’s all internal. Access is through the SIP Communication Service only. No .NET sign in access. Java’s blocked too so no web-based IM service. (Yahoo Webmessenger, Meebo). What’s funny is that Marc and Rain’s websites are blocked as well. I can understand Rain’s site being blocked (the convention), but Marc’s? Nyeks.

Anywho, training’s been really fun, considering that I do not have tech hardware background. I figure that starting next week, information overload’s (i.e. nosebleed/pwnage) likely to happen.

Boink~
