I’ve been into Anime for several years now. Didn’t have a problem with anime and manga save for the grammatical errors and incorrect translations until
One Piece. I finally finished catching up to the manga version. I used to just watch the anime, until Benito stopped his rations. I was then forced to go manga. Frankly, reading through each episode is nothing compared to anime, simply because the visual experience is more gratifying.
Anyway, I started at the 100-ish issue and read everything up until Chapter 494. Just imagine all those hours of un-productivity. Almost every issue has several grammatical errors. Some to the extent of not making any sense at all.

Holy crap! After publishing my last post, I just saw L, the protagonist in Tsugumi Ohba’s Death Note.
Check out the comparison:

The guy on the left is Ken’ichi Matsuyama who portrayed “L” in the movie adaptation of the popular manga, anime, and novel, while the guy on the right is just, well, some guy in a google ad.
Look closely. Don’t they look alike? LOL. It like one of them had a Chicago face lift or something. I don’t really care which one. LOL. (more…)

While my friends were hapilly enjoying their nightlife in San Diego, ermmm MegaMall, Nina and I spent our Saturday lying around and watching movies. If there were such a term, we wouldn’t be called couch potatoes, but bed potatoes.
We went to Makati Cinema square and scored a few CD’s and DVD’s. We watched three movies: The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Blood Diamond, and Maid Service. These three titles are all part of different movie compilations. We bought 4 compilations in total, each DVD containing 8 different films, plus a Hentai CD with 6 titles included. I also had the chance to secure my copy of Adobe Premier and the expansion CD of Diablo 2, which is The Lord of Destruction.
Okay kill me now for buying pirated versions.

Like I said, OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
I’ve played (and was addicted, thank you very much) Naruto Arena. I’ve yet to unlock Kimimaro when I heard that the staff released the four Jounins teachers, it took me several days before I got the chance to play again and managed to unlock Sakon. I started playing again but everyone was showing off strong ass characters (i.e. Kakashi, Asuma, Gai, Kurenai). So being Mr. Competitive, I was aiming to unlock Kimimaro, and then they drop the bomb and release the Sannins. =\
LoL. Anyway, I’m gonna try and play like crazy in order to be able to unlock all characters. I’m sure a lot of players are going nuts just imagining what the Sannins (i.e. Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Tsunade Sandaime) can do.
Hay~ *sigh*

2. I was on vacation for three weeks.
3. I am now employed at Dell International Services (same position).
4. I have limited internet access (don’t want to jeopardize my career early~).
5. I finally found a company that solidly supports their employee’s career.
6. I’m stretching the budget (and I mean streeeeetch~).
7. My VideoCard has been upgraded to 256MB, thanks to Benito.
8. I can finally appreciate PC Gaming: Diablo 2 (not Lord of Destruction), Battle for Middle Earth 2, Civilization 3, Civilization 4 Warlords, and several other older games.
9. Currently at Episode 118 for One Piece.
10. Finished the first two episodes for Season 2 of Heroes.
11. No YM here at work. Don’t expect me to be online. LOL. BTW, am I on SMS on Yahoo Messenger?

Well, I guess that’s it for now. Once I hit the floor, I’ll probably have time to update this blog.

Been playing for a while now. Here’s my current status
Also, I noticed that there isn’t a Team Philippines yet, so I PM-ed some Pinoys and asked if they’d like to form a team so that we could gang up on all the others.

I just got hooked to this online game from Naruto Arena. I have to admit, the missions are really challenging and there are a lot of players to fight. You actually have 2 options IMHO.
1. You can play the killer, defeat everyone you encounter, and hope you get the top spot. READ: HOKAGE.
2. Complete the ninja missions, unlock and have the strongest characters, then play the killer and get to the top spot. (more…)

I’ve been watching Naruto recently. I have to admit, I’m not a big anime fan, but there were several instances when I have applied what I learned (yes, you actually learn something from it) from the series. The main character of the story displays so much enthusiasm, perseverance and dedication that it makes up for his stupidity. I remember one time when I came so close to giving up. I envisaged Naruto and thought of what he would do if he was in the same shit that I was (minus the stupidity). I was inspired right away.
I beg your pardon, but, Whoever said anime is bad for kids is deeply mistaken.
Rain’s yakking about Lain and mentioned that some geek is making an actual OS dedicated to it. Maybe it’s worth a look.

Finished Naruto (episodes 1-74) c/o Benito. Episodes 75-180+ coming soon, still c/o Benito.
I never expected to enjoy the episodes. In fact I never was interested in watching the animated series. If I remember correctly, it was one lazy Saturday afternoon. Chumchum was the promotor and was really hyped up when the series started (Studio 23~). We obviously had no choice but to watch with her since she retorted earlier that she was going to watch Naruto, SAVED!. So that’s where everything started. I can’t wait to start the rest.
i don’t really like this post.
